Outstanding Choirs

Up to two choirs will be chosen by blind audition to perform at the Gala/Honors Concert of the All-State Festival, Thursday, May 7 at 7PM.

Eligibility

• Member high school choirs in any voicing may submit an audition recording for consideration.
• Recordings must be work from the current school year and include three selections of contrasting styles, one of which must be unaccompanied (may include non-pitched percussion or body percussion).
• Application forms including audition recordings must be submitted by April 1, 2026.

Outstanding Choirs will be announced by April 10, 2026.

Directors of selected Outstanding Choirs will receive participation information. A letter of congratulations will be mailed to each selected choir's director, his/her principal and superintendent.
A plaque will be presented to participating choirs and each student will receive a certificate.
