All-State Musical Theatre Solo & Ensemble
Soloists & Duets
Eligibility
Musical Theatre Solo & Ensemble Soloists and Duets will be featured during the All-State Festival Vocal Solo & Ensemble Recitals. Six total events will be selected. Any solo or duet event from any of the three Musical Theater Solo & Ensemble sites that has earned a total score of 28 or higher is eligible to audition for this opportunity. There is no fee for auditioning.
To be considered for All-State Festival, a soloist must:
- Student must be in grades 10-12
- Receive a Division I - Excellent with a score of 28 or higher at Musical Solo & Ensemble Central, East, or West.
- Fill out the All-State Musical Theatre Solo & Duet Form linked below.
- Submit two full-length videos of the pieces performed by the soloist/duet at Musical Theatre Solo & Ensemble. Substitutions are not allowed. Video must be uploaded to Youtube and submitted via links in the Audition Form. Accompaniment is required, but it may be tracks for the audition. Live accompanist will be required if selected for one of the recitals.
- Agree to perform at the All-State Vocal Solo & Ensemble Recital (only one) date TBD
- Agree to pay any necessary registration fees for participation if selected.
Selection
Six total events will be chosen from duets & soloists that apply. All applicants will be reviewed by the listening panel below.

Soloist - $50 - Includes a plaque, certificate, and a lunch ticket.
Duet - $100 - Includes a plaque, certificate for each performer and a lunch ticket for each performer.
