All-State Outstanding Choirs
Outstanding Choirs Up to three choirs will be chosen by blind audition to perform at the Gala/Honors Concert of the All-State Festival, Thursday, May 7 at 7PM. Eligibility
Outstanding Choirs will be notified by April 10, 2026. Outstanding Choirs will be announced in the April issue of Tempo! Directors of selected Outstanding Choirs will receive participation information. A letter of congratulations will be mailed to each selected choir's director, his/her principal and superintendent. We received many stunning submissions, and the level of musicianship across the board was exceptionally high. The listening panel has completed their adjudication according to our rubric and, after careful consideration, have chosen the following ensembles to perform as Outstanding Choirs at All-State Festival during the Traditional Gala Concert: Bel Canto Treble Choir Ann Arbor Skyline High School Lyn CieChanski, Director Chamber Choir Saline High School Sarah Deas, Director Concert Choir Detroit School of Arts Julian J.
