The All-State Jazz Choir will include up to 20 singers, who will have a day-long rehearsal on Sunday, December 13, 2026 at Rockford High School, followed by rehearsal at the Michigan Music Conference (January 21-23). This will culminate in a performance at the Specialized Choral Hour at the J.W. Marriott Ballroom on January 23, 2027. The choir will rehearse and perform on a sound system and with a professional rhythm section.

Eligibility

MSVMA welcomes high school students to participate in its All-State Jazz Choir program. Participants must be enrolled and in good standing in their school's vocal music program. Their school must be a member of MSVMA.

2026 Audition Requirements

Please provide URL addresses to unlisted YouTube videos for your audition. Singers should sing their appropriate voice part for the audition. Any problems with submissions should be reported to jedscott@msvma.org before the deadline of October 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM
