High School Mass Choral Festival

  • October 29, 2019 - 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
  • Location: Shelby HS - 641 N. State St, Shelby 49455
  • Repertoire:
  • The Awakening - Joseph Martin - SATB
  • A Girl's Garden - Randall Thompson - SAA
  • Star Of County Down - Douglas E. Wagner - TTBB
  • Directors are encouraged to bring advanced middle school students.
  • Teachers assist with sectionals.
  • 9:30 a.m. - Warm-ups 
  • 10 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Potential choir performances (Limited time)
  • 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. - Sectionals, men (auditorium), women (choir room), switch at 11:05 a.m.
  • 11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - Lunch
  • 12:15 p.m. - 12:45 p.m. - Rehearse with clinician.
  • 12:45 p.m. - 1 p.m. - Sing for small audience.
  • 1 p.m. - Festival concludes. Travel home.

Junior High/Middle School/High School Solo & Ensemble Festival

  • February 1, 2022
  • Tuesday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • West Shore Community College
  • Online registration deadline: January 11, 2022
  • Payment postmark deadline: January 18, 2022
  • Solos $20, Small Ensembles $30, Large Ensembles $50
  • Host:  Ted Malt
