A Note of Thanks from MSVMA

This week is National Volunteer Appreciation Week. While this is an important reminder for us, there is no way that all of our appreciation can fit into a single week for the tremendous work done by our army of volunteers. The Michigan School Vocal Music Association thrives due to your work at each event and meeting. MSVMA has events, festivals, conferences, and meetings on over 125 days each year, each taking immense planning and preparation, along with dozens of volunteers. No job is too large or small for Michigan's incredible teaching force and each job is appreciated. To our board of directors, district managers, program supervisors, program coordinators, site hosts, and on-site helpers at each individual event - Thank You! Incredibly difficult to track, this work likely equates to hundreds of thousands of volunteer hours and millions of dollars. Quite literally, MSVMA could not function without your help. Thank you for your support and belief in our collective vision of educating and empowering students, teachers, and audiences with the power of vocal music. We hope you continue being a part of our family and if you haven't had the opportunity yet to contribute to the success of MSVMA, we look forward to working with you next year!

The Michigan School Vocal Music Association is proud to offer one, $10,000 scholarship to an outstanding high school choral student who is pursuing a degree in choral music education. The scholarship is paid in increments of $1,250 per semester for the duration of a 4-year college degree.
