Teacher of the Year


The following criteria are applied when considering a candidate for Teacher of the Year:
  • Must be a current member of MSVMA
  • Must have taught at least 15 years, at least 10 of which were on the secondary level in Michigan
  • Must have demonstrated consistent excellence in performance
  • Must have been influential in creating a love and understanding of music for the masses
