UPDATE FOR THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR

We understand this is an uncertain time for schools, students, and teachers and want to ensure that MSVMA continues to be a valuable resource. Our goal is to be able to keep every member connected to our MSVMA community.

Due to program and budgetary concerns:

MSVMA is discounting school memberships by 50% for the 2020-2021 school year. The discounted rate will be $192.50. If you are renewing online, use the discount code (MSVMA2020).
There are no fee changes for other membership levels.
An additional $100 in assistance may be granted if schools are still unable to participate at the 50% level. For this additional membership assistance, please apply using this form.

How to apply the membership discount code

School Membership is available to public, private, or parochial middle, junior high, or senior high school in the State of Michigan upon the receipt of an online application and submitted fee(s).
To participate in MSVMA events, a student must attend an MSVMA member school and must be an active member of his/her school's vocal music program.
Additional directors and teachers that are not covered by a school membership and individuals, such as adjudicators, must hold an associate membership

Junior High/Middle School Membership - $385.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments

Elementary School Membership - $200.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments This membership level allows 6th graders to audition for the 6789 SA State Honors Choir and participate in choral festival.

Two School Membership - $770.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Schools that meet the following criteria:
- Same building location and/or administrative team

New School Membership - $200.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited This membership level is for schools that are new to MSVMA or have not been a member for five or more years.

Associate Membership - $80.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Schools that meet the following criteria may qualify for an associate membership:

Additional directors and teachers that are not covered by a school membership and individuals, such as adjudicators, clinician/consultants, private voice teachers, administrators, and college and university teachers

Business memberships distributing goods or services for profit are eligible to apply as Associate Members.

Student Membership - $15.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Student members can attend clinics, festivals, and conferences, and receive publications.

Retired Membership - $15.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments An individual who has retired status as defined by the Michigan Public School Employees Retirement System or an equivalent may maintain MSVMA membership. Individuals serving as clinician consultants or adjudicators must choose the Associate membership.
